Ms. Nikki

Dance Director

Dance Instructor/Coach 

 

Nicole is a Pennsylvania State University graduate with a BFA Degree in stage management.  Currently, a member of the Broadway Dance Center in New York City., Nicole has been performing and competing for over 18 years all over the country.  She is experienced and trained in various genres of dance,  including but not limited to jazz, tap, lyrical, ballet, pointe, hip-hop, salsa and modern.  Nicole has her own production company "NEDFOX Productions" in which she produces videos and edits music for others, as well as herself. Nicole has worked behind the scenes for the World of Dance Competition in Boston, participated in the BuildABeast convention under WilldaBeast Adams in California and is a 2017 protege for the Liberate Arts Tour.  Currently, she is a member of the Urban Dance League in NYC under AntBoogie. 

 

Ms, Nicole is the Dance Drector of Dance at Blossom Sisters Dance. 

 

Ms. Nicole is the Head Coach for all of The Company Dance Classes.

Shama Elliot Co-founder of Blossom Sisters Dance Organization. Born and raised in Harlem, New York , Shama has been dancing since the age of five. She was part of her high school cheer leading and dance team from 1988-90 and has performed at several events. She has managed and choreographed several ballet pieces for our annual recitals and showcases.  She and her sister Shatanya own the studio and have started a charitable organization, Blossom Sisters Dance & Performing Arts Inc. a non-profit organization that provides dance art programs to at-risk youth in the community of Hackensack, Paterson and surrounding areas at low or no cost to families.  She has a B.A. in Business Management and Masters of Public Administration/Management & Operations from John Jay College of Criminal Justice.  Shama teaches our Kinder-Ballet, Jazz and Ballet classes and specializes in working with toddlers and pre-teens and introducing them to the world of dance. She is looking forward to another exciting dance year with Blossom!

 Mrs. Notice Joined Blossom Sisters Dance Organization in 2015, and is currently A School Teacher for 2nd Graders in Newark Charter School. Dance, Since then, while attending FDU she utilized her dance training and became the president of IGE dance team. Currently, she trains at Sharon Millers Dance Academy in Montclair NJ. Throughout her dance career, she has had the pleasure to teach at Broadway Bound, tap,and. Aaysha Notice sought out dance at a very young age, training at Marie Widely School of Dance in East Orange New Jersey. As her love and growing interest in dance increased she began to train at Broadway Dance Center in NYC where she studied jazz.

Ms. Aaysha is Assistant Director at The Blossom Sisters and also one of the  Board of Directors.

Ms. Z

Zonaly Sandoval (Miss Z)  has been training in ballet, tap, modern, hip hop and jazz since 2005. She attended Passaic County Technical as a Dance Major where she had the opportunity to work with Jay T Jenkins and Alex Biegelson from 10 Hairy Legs.

Miss Z is also trained in other forms such as; bachata, salsa, merengue, and West African Dance. She has experience in choreography. When she was in high school she was awarded Dancer of the Month for her dedication and perseverance. While in high school, she also choreographed her entire school’s production of “In The Heights”. She is also a licensed makeup artist and hairstylist. 

 

Miss Z is now the Executive Assistant of the Blossom Sisters Organization. She has been a part of the Blossom Family since September 2017 and many more years to come.

Miss Jam
Hip-Hop, Jazz and  Modern

Jamaica Scott AKA MIss Jam is an innovator in all things creative and a dynamic force in the performing arts. Raised in Brooklyn, NY, she honed her skills with Sharon’s Dance Theatre, Brooklyn High School of the Arts, DSPAC, and The Ailey Extension.

With over 15 years of training, Jamaica is well-versed in a variety of dance genres, including ballet, modern, jazz, and hip-hop. Her versatility as a performer and her passion for teaching make her a powerful influence in the dance community.

Jamaica’s mission is to inspire and empower others—especially the next generation of artists—through creativity, discipline, and self-expression. She blends movement and music to create transformative experiences that leave a lasting impact both on and off the stage.

She is excited to join the Blossom Sisters at Blossom Sisters Dance, where she looks forward to sharing her passion, creativity, and expertise with the students and families of the Blossom community.

MISS JORDAN
BALLET, JAZZ AND LYRICAL

 

Raised in New Jersey, Jordan Bleu Lavalle began dancing at age 2 at Dance Dimensions, developed her technique at bergenPAC’s Performing Arts School, and embraced her artistry through competitive dance at The Tate Academy, before transitioning to college dance at Muhlenberg College. In May 2025, Jordan received a BA degree in Theatre and Media & Communication.

 

Jordan has studied ballet, pointe, lyrical, modern, contemporary, jazz, musical theatre, tap, acrobatics, aerial-silks, and more. In 2018, she trained at Joffrey Ballet School; in 2020, at NYU Tisch’s Dance & Dancemakers Future Artists Program; and in 2022 and 2023, at Earl Mosley’s Institute of the Arts. In 2023, she also performed in the opening number of The Bessie Awards in NYC. 

 

At Muhlenberg College, Jordan served as captain, choreographer, and co-president of the commercial jazz dance team, “The Perkulators,” and was a dancer on the hip-hop team, “Mint.” She performed in 12+ dance and theatre productions at Muhlenberg, and choreographed and directed student-run shows.


Jordan is beyond excited to make her teaching debut at Blossom Sisters Dance and Performing Arts, and is ready to join the Blossom Sisters community!

Shatanya Shaw was Born and raised in Harlem, New York, Shatanya is the and Executive Director of Blossom Dance Studio since its opened its doors in 2006. She is the Founder of Blossom Sisters Dance & Performing Arts that help underserved NJ communities participate in Dance Arts Program. She has been dancing since age 5 years old. She began her training in Elementary through High School. Through her school years she was on several Dance Teams and Performed in many talents shows. She than began training at Alvin Alley dance school and Sharon Miller dance in NJ.  Blossom Sisters had expanded and now provides outreach “Dancing After School” programs onsite at Hackensack and Teaneck Public Schools to allow children access to the arts. Shatanya is a Board Member of Hackensack Cultural Arts Board and Member of Bergen Community College Coalition Multicultural Affairs Committee. With dance always in her heart, she and her sister started their own Dance studio providing children in the inner city a place to go and express themselves.

 

She is the Producer and creative mind of Choreography and Artistic concepts with all dance productions. She as well as her sister will continue to encourage our youth to keep dance in their hearts!
